Max NDVI for City Park and Jefferson Park in Denver, CO show similarities¶
NDVI statistics were calculated for two neighbors in Denver, CO: City Park and Jefferson Park. NDVI quantifies vegetation health and can indicate how much or how well vegetation is growing in an area. Below is a map to show the location of the two neighbors.
Max NDVI in a chloropleth plot¶
In the plot linked below, it can be seen that the chloropleth plot shows max NDVI for both neighborhood, which we see are very similar. Ultimately, this an understandable similarity as they are both located in the city, where vegetation is less prevalent.
